When is Aphrodite Hotel & Apartments open?
Aphrodite Hotel & Apartments runs its full season from May through October, when every room and apartment is open. A limited number of rooms are also available year-round on request — get in touch and we will confirm availability outside the main season.
Where is the hotel located on Ios?
We sit in the heart of Chora, the main village of Ios Island, 100 metres from the main square and a short walk from the restaurants, bars and the bus stop for the beaches. The port of Ios is about 2 km away — a short bus or taxi ride up to Chora.
What types of accommodation do you offer?
Standard Rooms (Double, Triple or Quadruple, sleeping 2 to 4), self-catering Apartments (up to 4 or 5 guests with a kitchenette), and The House — our private apartment for groups of 6 with a full kitchen. Choose by group size and whether you want cooking facilities.
How do I get to Ios from Athens or Santorini?
Most guests fly into Athens and take the ferry direct (6–8 hours), or fly into Santorini and take the short 35–60 minute ferry crossing to Ios. From the port of Ios, we are 2 km up to Chora — reachable by local bus, taxi, or a transfer we can arrange.
